Manchester City Unveils Its 2017/18 Away Kit
This time influence comes from the 1956 FA Cup Final kit.

Having revealed its first ever kits for Chelsea earlier this month, Nike has now unveiled its latest venture for the upcoming Premier League season — this time showcasing Manchester City’s away strip. The club chose to use its young stars to model the kit, working with Leroy Sané, Danilo and Ederson for an impromptu shoot in Los Angeles, where the team will be taking part in the International Champions Cup friendly tournament before the season starts in a few weeks time. This time the kit is full maroon, which was inspired by the club’s 1956 FA Cup Final-winning jersey while a nod to City’s classic light blue color comes in the form of trims on the shirt and socks. As with all of Nike’s football kits, AeroSwift technology makes an appearance, ensuring that players have a kit that is flexible and breathable. The kit will be available from July 27 at Nike’s web store and on the official Manchester City team site.
