Manchester City Unveils Its 2017/18 Home Kit
Taking inspiration from the team’s 1967 kit.

Nike has unveiled its latest kit and this time it’s Manchester City FC‘s home kit for the 2017/18 season. The main inspiration behind the design was history, specifically the kit from City’s 1967/1968 season, aping the maroon-banded socks seen that year. There’s also new technology, with Aeroswift making an appearance in this kit like it does in Barcelona’s new uniforms. There’s tech throughout the kit, with the shirts featuring a white stripe to the side that expand when the player is in motion, allowing for a wider range of movement, and socks that use Nike Grip tech that makes sure your foot doesn’t slide around in the boot.
Manchester City last made headlines for more bizarre news when it was revealed that Pep Guardiola had instilled a sex curfew on his players.
