Nikon Unveils Its Brand New COOLPIX W300 Camera for Summer
Shoot pics while filming super high resolution 4K UHD videos simultaneously.

Nikon is primed and ready to release its latest device in the COOLPIX W300. The rugged point-and-shoot camera rips a page from its AW130 predecessor in featuring the same 16-megapixel CMOS sensor, 5x optical zoom wide-angle lens, 3-inch LCD as well as built-in NFC, WiFi and GPS capabilities. The shooter’s main draw though, is its 4K UHD (3,840 x 2,160) video at 30fps functionality allowing users to shoot stills while filming super high resolution videos simultaneously. As an added bonus, the COOLPIX W300 remains waterproof, freeze proof, shockproof and dust proof. Set to hit shelves sometime this summer, the W300 will retail for $395 USD.
