adidas Originals and Alexander Wang Link up Again to Create Its Season 2 Collection

Earlier this spring, Alexander Wang in tandem with adidas Originals, dropped a collaborative range of activewear items, which saw the American designer apply a swarm of high-fashion twists to a slew of sportswear staples. Keeping this distinct parallel alive and well, the duo link up yet again, this time to create the adidas Originals by Alexander Wang Season 2 collection. Artistically intersecting the worlds of cycling and rave culture, the visuals directed by Ryan Staake, cast a spotlight on a new wave of athletic gear — showcasing its versatility in seamlessly moving from work to play. The video narrates a tale of two bike messengers hitting the streets while on the job, only later to wind down the day’s events by partaking in some innocent after-hours fun.
Tying into the video, consumers in New York City exclusively will be able to purchase product on July 29 at 12 p.m. by texting 917-512-7715 to find out the drop details. A global launch is set for August 5.
