Mike Tyson Weighs in on the Mayweather vs. McGregor Super Fight
“McGregor is going to get killed boxing.”

Boxing legend “Iron” Mike Tyson recently appeared on Barstool Sports’ podcast “Pardon My Take” to chime in on the Mayweather vs. McGregor super fight. Holding no punches back, the former champ expects Mayweather to fully pick apart the MMA fighter, with a surefire knockout all but inevitable. Interestingly enough, Mayweather and Tyson have had their fair share of scuffles and social media spats, including Tyson calling out Floyd after his unimpressive win over Manny Pacquiao and earlier calling the TMT leader “delusional” after he announced that he was a better boxer than Muhammad Ali.
Not friends by any stretch of the imagination, Tyson’s forecast is more predicated on McGregor stepping into the ring with a seasoned pro. Given the fact that the Irishman cannot kick, grab and elbow, the one-time boxer feels Conor to be completely out of his element and put himself in a position to embarrass himself.
In referencing the podcast interview, Mike Tyson had the following to say on the upcoming bout: “I got mad because I thought they were going to use MMA rules against boxing because that’s what it’s all about: Can the boxer beat the MMA guy?” He later added, “McConor put his dumb*ss in a position where he’s gonna get knocked out because this guy’s been doing this all his life since he was a baby.”
