Wooyoungmi's 2018 Spring/Summer Collection Finds the Harmony Between Embroidery and Luxury

Sometimes it’s the little things that matter the most.

Since its inception in 2002, Wooyoungmi‘s story reads as one of expansion and success, making its way out of its birth country of South Korea and finding its way into some of Asia and Europe’s finest menswear boutiques. The label has made its name by exceeding the industry’s expectations of stitching and trimming, which is exactly what was delivered with its 2018 spring/summer collection. Founder Woo Youngmi and her daughter Katie Chung left no detail overlooked, with a variety of embroideries, zippers and buttons used to highlight some of the collection’s pieces. Loose fitting trousers and blazers dominate the collection, which has been a staple in Wooyoungmi’s portfolio for as long as it has been in business. In addition to this, the label’s use of safe patterns and colors gives the collection a more luxurious look without crossing any lines, with nothing more than plaid, stripes and paisley featured across the entire set.
