Nintendo Offers the Best Look Yet at 'Super Mario Odyssey'
The game now has a concrete release date, too.
After unveiling the game back in January, Nintendo has offered up the best look yet at its next Super Mario adventure by way of a brand new gameplay trailer. Due out later this fall, Super Mario Odyssey will mark everyone’s favorite plumber’s first proper Switch outing and is billed as “a massive, globe-trotting 3D adventure” that will see players use “incredible new abilities to collect Moons that power up your airship — the Odyssey — and rescue Princess Peach from Bowser’s wedding plans!” Based on the new E3 trailer, it looks like players will be able to use Mario’s new abilities to inhabit characters and object alike, playing as everything from a dinosaur to a taxi cab along the way.
Super Mario Odyssey drops October 27.
