'Super Mario Odyssey' Is the Next "Sandbox" 3D-World Mario Game

The Nintendo Switch made its live debut earlier today, and now we get a look at the next chapter for our favorite gaming hero, Mario. As the next major entry of the prolific series, the 3D Super Mario Odyssey has Mario leaving his Mushroom Kingdom behind to spend some time in the real world. Nintendo states it will feature “sandbox-style” levels, meaning that players will be able to explore and play according to their own preferences. Expect Super Mario Odyssey to drop late this year, during the 2017 holiday season.
