DOE Opens Second Store in Shanghai Xintiandi
DOE expects its new space to become a “new scene” in the city.
Shanghai streetwear retailer DOE is expanding. Its been nearly three years since DOE opened its inaugural space at Tong Ren Lu in Shanghai and now the company has added a second store just a few miles from the first. DOE — which means friend or acquaintance — partnered with esteemed architect Shuhei Aoyama to construct its second shop. Similar to DOE’s first location, the Xintiandi store maintains the company’s original concept, with a clean, traditional yet modern, innovative approach.
Most of the wooden interior is rooted in Shanghainese culture and DOE expects its new space to become a “new scene” in the city. One addition that will help the store become a hot-spot is the coffee bar, which will provide refreshments as shoppers browse for products. The second store will continue to carry apparel from Nike, Converse, Jordan, retaW, and its signature label DOE. Check out images of the space above and its address below.
