Balenciaga Drops a $1,100 USD Shopping Bag
Eschewing paper for calfskin.

Hot on the heels of its $2,145 USD take on the IKEA FRAKTA, Balenciaga‘s trolling continues as Demna Gvasalia has followed it up with a $1,100 USD shopping bag. Part of the label’s Fall/Winter 2017 collection and debuting at retail for its colette takeover, the piece looks like a normal Balenciaga-branded bag, but is anything but. Here, calfskin construction is joined by nappa leather handles and details like a double-zip fastening, silver metal hardware and interior pockets.
Made in Italy, the piece can be picked up now via colette while supplies last.
