visvim Brings Back the BEARD BOOTS-FOLK
A rugged favorite makes a comeback with overhauled construction.

Back around 2009/2010, visvim‘s BEARD BOOTS-FOLK was arguably Hiroki Nakamura and company’s most sought-after boot thanks to its rugged construction and thick sole unit. Now the kicks are making a triumphant return this season to join silhouettes like the GRIZZLY BOOTS-FOLK, DECOY DUCK BOOTS-FOLK, and 7-HOLE ‘73-FOLK in the lineup. Here, the design has undergone a major overhaul, casting aside the aforementioned sole of the original in favor of a Dainite rubber outsole for a more streamlined look. That sleek update extends to the upper as well, which now offers premium cow suede construction with vegetable-tanned cow leather lining and a natural cork footbed.
The overhauled BEARD BOOTS-FOLK is available now in black and camel colorways from visvim’s Japanese web store for ¥88,000 JPY (approximately $793 USD) per pair.
