'Sneakers': The Definitive Book on Kicks Is Coming in October
Everything you ever wanted to know about sneakers.

Journalists Howie Kahn and Alex French and designer Rodrigo Corral have curated a combination of elements including journalism, photography, and design to produce Sneakers; a book filled with over 270 pages of content dedicated to sneakerhead and design culture.
Sneakers is an exploration of the creative energy, innovation, collaboration, and visionary intelligence behind the phenomenon of this 85-billion-dollar industry. The book takes you inside the action of global sneaker culture through dozens of personal interviews with the people at its core.
Stories include Patta‘s sneaker hunt starting in the back-alleys of Philadelphia and ending in the Middle East, designer Jeff Staple‘s recollection of how his $6000 USD sneaker design kicked off a riot in the Lower East Side of Manhattan in 2005, and an exclusive tale from tennis superstar Serena Williams. Also included are insightful entries from brand professionals like adidas’s Rachel Muscat and Jon Wexler speaking on their collaborations with Kanye West, and Nike’s legendary Tinker Hatfield’s take on the future of the culture.
Pre order Sneakers here before its October 24 release date, and follow the book’s Instagram account for outtakes, art, and updates on the book.
