New Murals Pop up Around D.C. For Latest POW! WOW! Art Festival

Bringing new vibes to the city’s NoMa district.

Over the second half of May, the international POW! WOW! art festival visited Washington D.C., bringing with it 15 artists to paint murals around the city’s NoMa district. Among those arists were Kaplan Bruce, Madsteez, Stash, Trav, It’s a Living, Muro from Spain and Obic from Russia. Over the course of two weeks, the artists brought new life to spots like the Metropolitan Branch Trail and new AVA apartment buildings. Check out the photos above for a closer look.
