Central Embassy Bangkok Is Completed With 3D Curved Infinity-Inspired Architecture
Three lifestyle zones plus Snarkitecture’s “The Beach” exhibition are found within.
The Central Embassy shopping and lifestyle location in Bangkok, had its grand opening earlier this month to unveil the latest look for “the retail beacon” of Thailand’s capital. The 44,000 square-meter 37-storey retailer, which includes shopping, dining, music, art and design destinations, is within a gigantic structure that features a 3D curve design that begins from the front, continues to the side and finishes at the top — all of which is made to mimic the infinity symbol’s complex loop as it connects to its adjacent Park Hyatt hotel. Inside, Central Embassy introduces three interior anchor zones: Open House, which serves as a community living room; social club hangout SIWILAI CITY CLUB; and Eathai, Bangkok’s epicenter for exquisite cuisine. To commemorate the grand opening, Snarkitecture brought its interactive “The Beach” installation that contains over a 250,000 recyclable plastic balls and beach essentials for the ultimate relaxing atmosphere. The exhibition will run until June 30.
