visvim Drops a Trio of Duck Boots for 2017 Spring/Summer
A leopard-spotted pair appears alongside two more traditional looks.

Joining visvim’s Spring/Summer 2017 Grizzly Boots-Folk for the season at hand are a trio of brand new duck boots from Hiroki Nakamura and company. Dubbed the Decoy Duck Boot-Folk, the design — which first appeared on the runway last year for the Japanese label’s Pitti Uomo debut — is the brand’s most traditional duck boot design yet and falls somewhere between the likes of the Decoy Duck Boot Alu-Folk and the Decoy Duck Mid-Folk. Built atop Vibram soles with link-patterned treads, the pairs come with Swedish vegetable-tanned cow suede uppers — or, in the case of the leopard-spotted pair, Italian goat leather — and replace the silhouette’s prototypical rubber base with vegetable-tanned bovine leather from Chicago’s Horween Leather Company.
Each of the three makeups can be picked up now at visvim flagships, select stockists and visvim’s Japanese web store for ¥128,000 JPY (approximately $1,122 USD).
