Louie Lopez Gets His Own Converse Chuck Taylor All Star
Lopez pays homage to his hometown of Hawthorne, California.

Though just 22 years old, Louie Lopez has long been thought of as perhaps the best young skater around, a child prodigy turned Flip pro at just 19 years of age. Now Lopez is getting his very own custom Chucks as Converse and the California native pay homage to his hometown of Hawthorne. Coming in the form of CONS’s CTAS Pro Hi, the kicks make use of added traction rubber for better grip and durability while a Lunarlon sock liner makes the kicks comfier than ever. Aesthetically, the design sports a premium suede upper — its Louie-selected hue a nod to SoCal summers — to go along with leather accents while the inside of the tongue features an intricate map of Hawthorne. Finally, the city seal appears in gold foil on the footbed.
Though sold out at converse.com, Lopez’s CTAS Pro Hi can still be found now at select CONS stockists for $80 USD.
