Jordan Brand Makes Toronto Location Permanent

It’s official: Jordan Brand will re-open the doors to its retail store on 306 Yonge in Toronto for good. The elite athletic apparel company announced today, May 24, that the store, which began as a pop-up during the 2016 NBA All-Star Weekend, plans to recognize Toronto’s budding culture with the permanent location. In a statement released by Nike, the Jordan Brand parent company noted that “Toronto has long been known for its international appeal and, more recently, a unique basketball culture. These attributes make the city a perfect location for delivering the best of what Jordan Brand has to offer.”
To commemorate the special occasion, Jordan Brand will honor its class of XXXI, esteemed members of the community, and there will be customizable products and exclusive kicks for sale. There will be 416 versions of the Air Jordan 1, 4, and 6. However, it’s unclear if any OVO Jordans will be in stock. In addition to the retail space, Jordan Brand will offer access to Centre 23, a unique workout space catering to Canadian athletes. Haircuts and training sessions will be offered within the Centre 23 area as well.
Opening day is on Saturday, May 27, from 6:23 a.m. to 9 p.m.
