After unveiling the service back in February, Microsoft has finally announced an official launch date for its new digital gaming subscription service, Xbox Game Pass. Due out next month, Xbox Game Pass will give users unlimited access to over 100 Xbox One and backward-compatible Xbox 360 games for just $10 USD per month. And, if you’re an Xbox Live Gold member, you have early access to the program starting today.

One key takeaway from the Game Pass is that the games would be downloaded to the user’s hard drive in full fidelity — by comparison, PlayStation Now offers its similar service via streaming of the game only, albeit with a much larger library.

Xbox Game Pass launches June 1. Subscriptions can be purchased at xbox.com/game-pass where players can also find a full list of the available games.
