Patta Is Updating Its "Mean Eyed Cat" Collaboration With Vans

Patta‘s 2015 collaboration with Vans and BEAMS quickly became a collectors item. The all-black “Mean Eyed Cat” Old Skool was a Japan exclusive and fans of the Dutch skate brand around the world have tried to get their hands on a pair. Patta and Vans have now announced that the two brands have teamed up for two new takes on the much-loved collaboration, this time with a global release. Coming in either “True White” or “Black Coffee,” the two sneakers both combine premium suede with canvas on the upper and come with leather signature jazz striping, as well as the “Mean Eyed Cat” text on the midsole, Patta branding across the side panels, and a pair of Team Patta laces. The Patta x Vans Old Skool collection is dropping in-store at the brand’s Amsterdam and London locations on May 27 and will be available from the Patta web store a couple of days later on May 29.
