Spoken Words Project Reinterprets PUMA’s Basket Silhouette
Sandy desert-like finish.

PUMA recently unveiled its third coming collaboration alongside Masahiro Tobita and her Spoken Words Project imprint. Specializing in hand-dyed and hand-painted creations, the Japanese brand opted for the sportswear giant’s Basket silhouette to convey its artistic impressions on. Adhering to the theme of “ewohaku” — to wear a picture — premium choice leather was printed, cut and later applied at random onto the shoe. SWP also inject styling accents from its 2017 spring “Woman in the Sand” motif to create a textured finish resembling that of sand. Retailing for $229 USD, these new designs will release on April 28 at select PUMA stockists.
