Mercedes-AMG Introduces a Four-Door GT Concept at the Geneva Motor Show
Hybrid sedans never looked this good.
One of the more intriguing offerings from this year’s Geneva International Motor Show has been Mercedes-AMG’s GT concept – a four-door, hybrid take on its existing GT model. Linked up to a twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 engine and a paired electric motor, the engines provide a hefty 805 horsepower, while design nods to its coupe equivalent include the ”Panamericana” grille, bulging fenders and narrow tail lights. Given the clout it’s sure to offer on the road — not to mention its killer looks — the four-door AMG GT promises to provide a high-powered option in the sedan market should it go into production.
