'Game of Thrones' Season 7 Trailer Announces "The Great War" Is Coming
Fire and ice will face off.

After teasing that Game of Thrones could potentially come back in July, the blockbuster HBO series has just unveiled the premiere date, July 16, for season 7 with an interactive fan video via Facebook Live. The 16-minute-long unveil asked fans to comment FIRE or DRACARYS to reveal the date which was hidden behind a large slab of ice. Of course the fire is referring to Daenerys and her three dragons while the ice is in reference to the White Walkers. At the end of the video, we see house sigils crumble and Jon Snow announce that the only war that matters is “The Great War.”
Left to further wonder what chaos, bloodshed and plot twists will occur this season as the show is drawing towards an end, tune in on July 16 to get your fix. Also, there will be no Conor McGregor GoT cameo.
