Adult Swim's 'Rain World' Video Game Is Extremely Perilous and Equally Beautiful
A slugcat in the sewers, both predator and prey.
Adult Swim Games has released the trailer for Rain World, a side-scrolling platformer where you play a slugcat in the sewers. Your character is both predator and prey to the creatures in the industrial waste and must escape its surroundings using ingenious methods. The game is inspired by 16-bit side scroller classics and aims to keep the gameplay fast by creating intuitive AI opponents who vary their attacks, so you don’t end endlessly pressing the same two-button combo to defeat enemies. While Rain World has no release date as of yet, it will be available on PlayStation 4 and PC platforms some time this year. Watch the trailer above.
