The Shoe Surgeon Unveils the Air Jordan 1 "What the Scrap" Custom
Only ten pairs will be made available.

It’s safe to say that The Shoe Surgeon has the utmost affinity for the Air Jordan 1. Not long ago, the Los Angeles-based artisan took the wraps off his COMME des GARÇONS-inspired AJ1 and, before that, unveiled his own snakeskin iteration of the sought-after “Top Three” model. This time around, the coveted sneaker gets a “What The Scrap” rendition that is constructed out of salvaged leather that “had accumulated over the years to fill up huge bins in our studio,” according to the Shoe Surgeon.
Take a look at the Air Jordan 1 “What the Scrap” above and pre-order the shoe now at the Shoe Surgeon’s official website. Only ten pairs will be made available and are priced at approximately $1,000 USD each.
