Where will the Italian designer and French fashion house go from here?

It’s just been confirmed in a WWD exclusive that famed designer Riccardo Tisci is leaving Givenchy. The French fashion label has also confirmed that Tisci’s last collections were January’s men’s 2017 fall/winter range and 2017 fall couture pieces. Furthermore, it’s been told by sources that the departure was “mutual and amicable,” and has been effective since January 31.
“The chapter Riccardo Tisci has written with the house of Givenchy over the last 12 years represents an incredible vision to sustain its continuous success, and I would like to warmly thank him for his core contribution to the house’s development,” Bernard Arnault, chairman and chief executive officer of LVMH Moet Hennessy Louis Vuitton, Givenchy’s parent company, stated.
Tisci also said, “I have very special affection for the House of Givenchy and its beautiful teams. I want to thank the LVMH group and Monsieur Bernard Arnault for giving me the platform to express my creativity over the years. I now wish to focus on my personal interests and passions.”
The question for both parties now is where will they go from here? The rumor mill has it that Tisci will be moving to Versace.
