Pigalle Celebrates Craftsmanship With Its New Atelier Location and 2017 Fall/Winter Collection
“My purpose is to be at the center of the creation.”
Designer Stéphane Ashpool recently held Pigalle’s 2017 fall/winter Paris Fashion Week show in the brand’s new atelier location. With the show and collection, Ashpool wanted to celebrate craftsmanship and artistry. “My purpose is to be at the center of the creation, the making and the sale. Having been linked to these three aspects very naturally, I have always wished that they happen in the same city, in the same neighborhood, even under the same roof. In this space you are discovering tonight, we will manufacture the next Pigalle collections, as well as other designers we believe in and other prestigious partners. Creating, designing, sampling, testing, sourcing fabrics, producing mid-sized quantities, sparking interest to the youth for manual work, valorizing our expertise… This is the aim of this workshop one day,” Ashpool noted at the end of the show.
