Rick Owens Menswear Spring/Summer 2027 “STONE” Collection Runway Paris Fashion Week

Rick Owens held his Spring/Summer 2027 show at the Palais de Tokyo during a Paris heatwave, introducing a timely collaboration with adidas. The lineup debuted pieces built with adidas ClimaCool technology, featuring fan-inflated jackets and shorts paired with internal ice vests designed to regulate body temperature. Owens also previewed a new high-performance running shoe set for 2027. Alongside the athletic wear, the collection included avant-garde hand-crafted pieces. Rubber designer Matisse Di Maggio created sheer, hand-piped latex tops that required over 35 hours of labor each, while long-time collaborator Straytukay designed skeletal “Tensegrity” chaps made of foam and latex. Models walked the steel-grate runway in a palette of black, brown, and beige, wearing over-the-knee leather platform boots styled over three-striped track pants.

Dior Men Summer 2027 Collection Paris Fashion Week Runway Show Info

For Dior Men’s Summer 2027 collection, Jonathan Anderson prioritized material manipulation and replication over traditional textile construction. The house printed houndstooth patterns directly onto fabrics instead of weaving them, and formed polka dots out of solid fields of sequins. A standout piece was an embroidered silk shirt that recreated a trompe l’oeil scarf graphic from 1979 Dior haute couture. The footwear subverted classics, featuring suede lace-up shoes hand-embroidered with 19th-century motifs and intentionally disheveled woven boots. In accessories, Anderson converted a vintage zig-zag woven blanket into a tote bag and applied Dior’s archival cannage quilting to casual, spongy denim. The show’s music, a custom mix by Fred again…, mirrored this design ethos by sampling and remixing familiar vocal and instrumental tracks into new arrangements.

Givenchy Taps Juergen Teller for Sarah Burton’s First Men’s Campaign

Newly appointed Givenchy Creative Director Sarah Burton joined forces with photographer Juergen Teller to shoot her first menswear campaign for the house. The portraits feature photographer Sir Don McCullin, filmmaker Don Letts, and painter Danny Fox modeling tailored garments they chose themselves. Teller photographed the cast across casual, everyday locations in London, resulting in a lo-fi aesthetic. McCullin wore a gray double-breasted suit jacket with brogues, Fox was styled in a bright yellow coat and a collarless black suit, and Letts wore an all-white suit alongside a gold floral overcoat. The campaign images were scheduled to appear on billboards across Paris to coincide with Burton’s formal runway debut on June 25.

Saint Laurent Summer 2027 Menswear Runway Collection Anthony Vaccarello Paris Fashion Week

Anthony Vaccarello focused on restraint and minimalist design for Saint Laurent’s Summer 2027 menswear collection. The presentation took place inside artist Fujiko Nakaya’s immersive fog installation, “Cloud #07156,” where models drifted through a thick white mist. Vaccarello designed tailored pieces inspired by style figures like Tina Chow and author Marguerite Duras, introducing high-cut three-button jackets, bare-skin waistcoats, and low-cut tops paired with trailing fabric chokers. While grey, black, brown, and beige formed the foundational color palette, the looks were punctuated by hits of orange, claret, and lime. The collection concluded with liquid-gold metallic finishes on utilitarian outerwear, including a double-breasted suit and a belted trench coat. The models completed their looks with sheer, high-gloss shoes that caught the ambient light and fogged up in the moisture.

Moschino Names Sunnei Founders Loris Messina and Simone Rizzo as Creative Directors

Moschino named Sunnei founders Loris Messina and Simone Rizzo as its new co-creative directors. The appointment followed the sudden departure of former creative director Adrian Appiolaza just days prior. Messina and Rizzo launched their independent Milanese label Sunnei in 2014, gaining recognition for humor, community projects, and interactive runway shows before stepping away from the brand in September 2025. Massimo Ferretti, Executive Chairman of Moschino’s parent company Aeffe S.p.A., stated that the duo possesses the cultural sensibility needed to restructure the label while respecting its history. The designers noted their long-standing admiration for founder Franco Moschino’s ironical take on pop culture and luxury. Messina and Rizzo will show their debut collection for Moschino during Milan Fashion Week.
