Nike Gives the Classic Cortez a Premium Leather Makeover

Just last month, Nike followed up its OG-inspired Cortez homage to Steve Prefontaine with a luxurious black leather-constructed, gum sole-sporting take on the retro runner. In that same vein, the Swoosh is back this month with even more leather versions of the Cortez. This time around, the retro look is none up with monochromatic leather uppers, each of which dons metallic gold text branding on the tongue to go with embroidered script on the heels. Finally, finishing touches include leather lining, waxed cotton laces, and a white midsole/outsole combo.

Expect the Classic Cortez Premium pack’s black, grey, and navy colorways to hit select NSW spots starting this Saturday, February 18.
