Tom Sachs x Nike Mars Yard 2.0 Comes in a Kids-Sized Custom
Now the whole family can have a pair.

This summer’s release of Tom Sachs and Nike‘s Mars Yard 2.0 was one of the year’s most hyped sneaker drops and the sought-after silhouette has now been reworked into a one-off baby sneaker by one customizer. The miniature sneaker comes in the same colorway as the official release, with a brown and off-white upper contrasted with red detailing such as the Swoosh and tongue and heel tabs.
This year’s Mars Yard 2.0 was an updated version of Sachs’ 2012 Nike collaboration, with new materials used due to an unforeseen fault in the original which caused it to break “just like a paperclip” after repeated creasing.
This baby-sized version isn’t the first alternate interpretation of the sneaker we’ve seen this year, with a mid-top concept surfacing and even an unreleased blue sample being worn by Nike designer Ben Kirschner.
