Following its recent collaboration with Maison Margiela, Scottish heritage label Mackintosh has now unveiled its full Spring/Summer 2018 collection. The new release sees the brand stick to its roots, with a range of classic outerwear silhouettes that have been subtly reworked and updated.
The focus throughout this collection is on the sort of understated pieces that Mackintosh is known for. The collection’s incorporates lightweight materials such as wool, linen and nylon, which are mixed with bright colors including vivid pinks and yellows. Other key pieces see the brand’s signature rubberised coat in a variety of colorways, as well as a khaki bomber jacket.
There’s no official release date for the collection yet, but it is set to drop via Mackintosh’s web store in the coming weeks. In other fashion news, it appears there are new colorways of Balenciaga’s Triple-S set to drop soon.
