OMEGA Blends Liquid Metal & White Gold for "Blue Side of the Moon" Speedmaster
All-blue everything.
After giving Olympic superstar Michael Phelps his very own Seamaster Planet Ocean, OMEGA takes its inspiration from the night sky for a new Speedmaster.
Dubbed the “Blue Side of the Moon” Speedmaster, OMEGA’s latest creation is an eye-catching timepiece with a blue ceramic case, surface and moon phase plate; the brand’s own signature version of liquid metal was also used for parts of the watch’s build, such as the tachometer scale. Outfitted with the Co-Axial Master Chronometer Caliber 9904 movement, this piece boasts watch hands and hour markers in 18K white gold and a rich blue leather strap.
You can take a look at the new OMEGA Speedmaster “Blue Side of the Moon” above, and interested hobbyists can head over to their local OMEGA retailer for more information. Earlier this year, OMEGA also commemorated the 60th anniversary of its 1957 releases with a unique Speedmaster reproduction.
