Young Greatness Drops Off New 'Bloody Summer' Mixtape
The rapper’s first release since parting ways with Quality Control.

After a number of releases under the tutelage of Lil Wayne, Quavo and Birdman amongst others over the years, burgeoning New Orleans rapper Young Greatness has now unveiled his new long-awaited mixtape titled, Bloody Summer. The 15-track offering showcases Young’s trademark melodic-trap style while incorporating esteemed producer Drumma Boy for a large portion of the production duties.
Other producers include D-Roc, Blaq N Mild, Dave-O and Phresh — all of which have a number of massive street anthems on their resumes. As for guest features, Young recruited Lil Duke on “Family,” which may arguably be the strongest single off the project. Meanwhile, the project is also the first since parting ways with Quality Control and signing onto Cash Money Records.
