Nike Readies an Ohio-Inspired LeBron 15
The “Pride of Ohio” celebrates The King’s home state.
LeBron James is proud to be from Ohio and Nike is well aware. The sneaker giant originally debuted the “Pride of Ohio” LeBron 15 at a Cleveland-based pop-up and now the shoe is set for a general release in mere days.
The LeBron 15’s high-top silhouette is updated with muted grey and black Flyknit, while the midsole is realized in Taupe Grey. Red leather accents on the pull tabs creates visual interest for the otherwise understated shoe. Inside the tongue, the pull tab is embroidered with “216” — a nod to Cleveland’s area code. Tonal laces and speckling on the visible Air sole completes the sneaker.
Fans can get their hands on the “Pride of Ohio” on November 18 at Nike’s website and from select retailers. In related LeBron news, the basketball star recently unveiled an exclusive “Four Horsemen” Air Force 1 on his Instagram, and granted HYPEBEAST Magazine an exclusive interview.
