DESCENDANT Subtly Reworks the adidas Originals Campus 80s
Tetsu Nishiyama reworks the sneaker with premium nubuck.

DESCENDANT, the trad-inspired brand designed by FPAR and WTAPS founder Tetsu Nishiyama, links up with adidas Originals for a collaborative take on the classic Campus 80s silhouette. Swathed in premium nubuck, the drop narrows its scope to two understated models.
A Japanese favorite, the pair of Campus 80s have been reimagined in grey and blue nubuck, lending the low-key sneakers a sense of luxury. Leather Three Stripe branding and lining further exudes luxury. DESCENDANT branding on the tongue and tonal laces complete the shoes, which will come with a special hang tag and custom shoebox.
Isetan’s Shinjuku output will host the $160 USD sneaker’s limited drop on November 15, before November 18’s general release, which will include stockists like adidas‘s Japanese web store. Meanwhile, adidas has partnered with UNDEFEATED for an upcoming UltraBOOST release.
