App Now Available to Remove the iPhone X's "Notch"

Not a fan of that new notch on your iPhone X that Apple is trying to force you to embrace? Well, be rid of it once and for all with the new app Notch Remover, a newly approved application that allows you to do just that.

Apple has said to its developers: “Don’t mask or call special attention to key display features. Don’t attempt to hide the device’s rounded corners, sensor housing, or indicator for accessing the Home screen by placing black bars at the top and bottom of the screen,” but the app has been approved nonetheless.

The app doesn’t really remove the notch though, it just masks it by placing a more traditional black bar across the very top of the screen that then must be assigned to your wallpaper in the iOS settings. Do you plan on hiding the notch? Let us know below. However, whatever you do, be mindful when using the new device in the cold.
