The 20th-anniversary celebration of the Nike Air Max 97 looks to continue, as Nike’s new Air Max Plus 97 “Tune Up” hit the streets today. The new hybrid silhouette effectively merges construction details from the Air Max 97 and the Air Max Plus TN models. The shoe follows up on a recent slew of releases for the Air Max family, with the Air Max Plus TN “Big Logo” having launched just yesterday.
The new model boasts a familiar Air Max 97 upper — decked out in “Anthracite,” and a white rubber sole borrowed from the Air Max Plus for a contrasting, but clean aesthetic. The Nike mashup will be available at select Nike stores and online come November 21 and will be priced at $160 USD.
