adidas' NMD R1 Gets Prepped for Winter With a Wool Heel Upgrade

adidas is enhancing the NMD R1 just in time for winter, with its new “Wool Heel” edition of the beloved silhouette. The sneaker, that adds to the growing list of JD Sports exclusives, arrives — as the name suggests — with an updated wool heel construction.
Comprised primarily of a black mesh upper and black accents found on the tongue and branding, the grey wool heel provides a contrasting hit of color and texture.
