Han Kjøbenhavn Strips Back the PUMA Clyde
The classic silhouette gets an understated makeover.
Last month it was announced that Danish label Han Kjøbenhavn worked with German sports brand PUMA on a sleek and understated apparel and footwear collaboration. One of the elements of that capsule was the Copenhagen-based brand’s take on PUMA’s classic Clyde silhouette.
For this collaboration, the Clyde has been stripped back with key features including its minimalist white upper and the exposed stitching linking the leather upper to the gum midsole. Other touches include the embossed PUMA x Han Kjøbenhavn branding and suede touches on the heel and around the lace holes.
The full collection is available now from Han Kjøbenhavn stores and is dropping from other stockists on October 6. The collaboration is set to drop at retailers including Sneakersnstuff, with a retail price set at £89 GBP (approximately $120 USD). As well as working with Han Kjøbenhavn, PUMA has also recently joined forced with The Daily Paper to celebrate African football.
