Under Armour Unveils a "442” Colorway of the C1N
A salute to Cam Newton’s favorite muscle cars.

One of the things Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton is known for is his exuberant sense of fashion, whether it’s walking down the tunnel before a game or his unique collection of hats and other outfits for his post-game interviews. Newton’s mixture of fashion prowess off the field and his dynamic playstyle on it help create his signature shoe from Under Armour: the UA C1N. After debuting in a bright “Hometown” colorway back in the summer, UA has given Newton’s sneaker a dazzling black and gold update.
Dubbed the “442” colorway, the new look is inspired by Newton’s love for different muscle cars and sports a mostly-black thread used for the sneaker’s upper. This is paired with a bright gold forefoot strap, as well as some gold highlights close to the lace holes and on the back. Finishing off the shoe’s look is a gel-like outsole, bringing a somewhat sporty element to the lifestyle sneaker.
You can grab yourself a pair of the newest Under Armour C1N “442” look through Under Armour’s web store for $120 USD. The C1N isn’t the only UA sneaker making headlines lately, as the brand’s Curry 4 shoe is expected to be the number 1 basketball shoe.
