Leica Announces "LimoLand by Jean Pigozzi" Sofort Camera
The world-renowned photographer puts his spin on the instant camera.
In honor of legendary photographer Jean Pigozzi, Leica has unveiled a Pigozzi-inspired version of its Sofort camera. Dubbed the “LimoLand by Jean Pigozzi,” the camera sees the artist’s signature designs draped across the camera’s face. This includes the frowning “Mr. Limo” logo of Pigozzi’s fashion label, LimoLand, in different colors along the front as well as in blue on the camera’s vibrant red strap.
The Leica Sofort “LimoLand by Jean Pigozzi” is available for pre-order now and will make its debut at the end of this month for $395 USD. The new camera will also make an appearance at Pigozzi’s upcoming photo exhibition Johnny’s Pool at the Leica Gallery in Los Angeles starting on November 9.
