Instagram Is Introducing Comment Blocking, and Your Favorite Celebrities Are Testing It out First
Just leave them alone.
Tired of all the haters on your Instragram posts? Fear not — Instagram is soon to introduce the ability to block comments using specific keywords. By simply delegating certain words you’d like filtered out, Instagram will automatically remove the comments that contain these terms, leaving you a cleaner, hate-free feed. The Facebook-owned corporation is testing out the feature currently, and who better to beta such a large update than with the people who receive the most negative comments–celebrities. Kylie Jenner tweeted about her new ability, as did model Chrissy Teigen and Taylor Swift. Jenner goes even further and plans to utilize the power to limit the LBs (“like backs”) as well; no free rides anymore.
No word yet on when the option will become 100 percent public but keep an eye out for it in future updates.
So I'm trying out disabling my comments on Instagram because I'm done w people self promoting & the "LB"s
