Back in March, the hip-hop community mourned as Phife Dawg of A Tribe Called Quest passed away from diabetic complications. Today, The New York Daily News has reported that the late great rapper will now be memorialized with his own street in Queens, NY where he was born and raised. To be exact, it’ll located at Linden Boulevard at 192nd Street in St. Albans, Queens and will read, “Malik ‘Phife Dawg’ Taylor Way.” Props to the city of New York.
