Jordan Brand's Special Kubo x Air Jordan 15 Is Inspired by the Film's Theme of Good vs. Evil
Good luck getting your hands on these.

Jordan Brand is set to continue Nike’s movie-themed collaborations with stop-motion animation studio, Laika. Previously releasing shoes inspired by the studio’s films such as Coraline, Paranorman and The Boxtrolls, the Swoosh will now tap the film Kubo and the Two Strings for a special drop. Using the Air Jordan 15 as the canvas, designer Tinker Hatfield takes the movie’s expressive battle between good and evil and translates the notion with a mismatched design – owners will get a pair consisting of blue (good) and red (evil) sneakers. They’re made with leather uppers, featuring basket-weaved panel and insect embroideries representing the symbols of the feuding factions in the film. For fastenings, these kicks forgo traditional laces in lieu of an easy zip-up.
The Kubo x Air Jordan 15 will be available via charity auction on August 8 with proceeds going to the “Just Keep Livin” Foundation. In addition, an interactive game will launch on the film’s website that will gift its top players with the collaborative pair on August 11. And for those excited for the film’s opening, Kubo and the Two Strings is set to hit theaters on August 19, 2016.
