Apple Officially Announces Its September 7 Event
“See you on the 7th.”
Our first official look at the iPhone 7 is (probably) just over a week away.
Apple confirmed longstanding rumors today, officially announcing its upcoming September 7 event with invitations that were sent out to media this morning. The tagline? Simply “See you on the 7th.”
So what exactly can Apple fanboys expect next week’s showcase to hold? The iPhone 7 will almost undoubtedly be the highlight of the event as the Cupertino tech giant will finally put to rest rumors regarding the smartphone’s memory, camera, colors and headphone jack — or lack thereof. The second iteration of the Apple Watch will also likely be unveiled and is expected to include a new 16nm TSMC processor, GPS radio, a barometer, a thinner display and — thankfully — a larger battery.
Look for Apple’s event to hit San Francisco’s storied Bill Graham Civic Auditorium September 7 and tune in for yourself via Apple’s website at 10 a.m. PT.
