Stampd's 2017 Spring/Summer Collection Builds on Its Streetwear-Meets-Military Offerings
For those who can’t wait, some looks from the runway are available for purchase now.
Off the heels of his CFDA Vogue Fashion Fund nomination, Chris Stamp looks ahead to the 2017 spring/summer season with a collection well-positioned to be a favorite amongst streetwear enthusiasts. The California-based designer is renowned for his subdued color palettes and here we see him take those familiar grey, blue and olive tones to tell a cohesive story. Channeling army and utility influences, Stampd’s collection is made up of tried-and-true streetwear staples that include large-pocketed shirts, cargo trousers and shorts, long coats, and new renditions of the brand’s ever-popular strapped bomber jackets. The silhouettes are mostly oversized with fabrics that give each piece quite a relaxed drape — perfect for those balmy days ahead.
In addition to his runway show, Stampd is also making some of its looks available for purchase now as a way to respond to consumers’ see-now-buy-now mentality.
