'Daria,' 'Beavis & Butt-Head' and 'Jackass' to Air on Rebranded, MTV Classic
A channel dedicated solely to ’90s nostalgia
MTV has announced that it will be rebranding its VH1 Classic channel as MTV Classic, a network dedicated entirely to programming and music from the ’90s and early ’00s. The new channel will debut with MTV Hour One, a facsimile of the network’s first hour of programming. Other throwback fare will include fan-favorites like Daria, Beavis & Butt-Head, Jackass, Cribs, and Pimp My Ride. MTV Unplugged and Storytellers will also make a return. In addition to original programming, MTV Classic will also feature music videos, concerts and movies that appeal to that quintessential retro aesthetic.
