Ron Howard's 'The Beatles: Eight Days a Week -- The Touring Years' Documentary Premieres First Trailer
Exploring the height of Beatlemania.
From 1962-to-1966, The Beatles became a worldwide sensation traveling the globe playing everywhere from The Cavern Club in Liverpool to their massive concert at San Francisco’s Candlestick Park in 1966. It was very much the height of “Beatlemania,” and a time period that cemented the four musicians as pop culture icons. For award-winning director Ron Howard’s latest film, The Beatles: Eight Days a Week — The Touring Years, we explore this time with rare and never-before-scene footage, all in conjunction with Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, and Beatle widows Yoko Ono Lennon and Olivia Harrison. The film will premiere theatrically on September 16, 2016 before debuting on HULU a day later.
