At the turn of the month, Jordan Brand released a special commemorative sneaker pack with superstar footballer, Neymar, Jr. The three-part sneaker capsule – including the Hypervenom II Phantom boot, the street-ready HypervenomX Proximo, and the iconic Air Jordan 5 — finds itself building on the theme of greatness and its inspiring traits.

Just prior to its release, Jordan Brand held a special launch event at Terminal 23 in New York. Here, we sat with the lead designer of the collection, Nike’s Nathan VanHook, to talk about how the partnership between Jordan and Neymar came about, the design process, and more.
