A Closer Look at the Packer Shoes x Reebok Phase 1 Pro "Corner '85"
Packer takes it back to the NYC corners of the mid-’80s.

Reebok’s Phase 1 and subsequent Phase 1 Pro may have roots on the tennis court, but the sleek low-top has been associated with a decidedly more urban locale ever since its mid-’80s debut. With that in mind, Packer Shoes is taking us back more than three decades to the NYC corner hustlers of 1985 to present its own take on the old school classic. Aptly dubbed the “Corner ‘85,” the collaborative endeavor takes cues from the style of the era and the shoe’s own reputation as a luxurious trendsetter, draping it in black garment leather with a croc-embossed white leather tongue, matching heel, faux gold accents, and a gum rubber outsole.
Capped off with “1985” branding along the heel and Packer-branded lace jewels, the “Corner ‘85” will drop in-store and online this Friday at 12 p.m. EDT for $110 USD while an exclusive black and gold Yankees cap will also be offered up for $40 USD.
