Tom Hanks Is Back as Robert Langdon in 'Inferno'
Hanks returns alongside ‘Rogue One’ star Felicity Jones.
Robert Langdon just can’t catch a break. Having already faced the likes of Opus Dei and the Illuminati, Dan Brown’s Harvard professor will have to put his eidetic memory to use once again in Inferno. Helmed by Ron Howard (who also directed the adaptations of The Da Vinci Code and Angels & Demons), Inferno sees Tom Hanks return as Langdon, this time teaming up with Dr. Sienna Brooks (Rogue One star Felicity Jones) as he unwittingly becomes the target of a major manhunt after awakening in a Florence hospital.
Howard’s adaptation of Brown’s 2013 novel is set to hit the big screen October 28.
